Emergency Medical Services

The First Aid and Rescue Squad has both volunteer and paid members. In one year, our paid crew of full-time and per diem/part time Emergency Medical Technicians answered nearly 7,000 emergency calls.

The Township's medical responders and health professionals have trained more than 2,850 people that are members of local EMT's, Firefighters, the Police Department, Township school nurses, adult communities, and nursing facilities. The training includes everything from CPR and basic first aid, as well as training Township personnel in state disaster preparedness procedures.
